The Swiss Tribology Association

was founded in 2006

at the EMPA in Dübendorf, Switzerland.

Our purpose is to promote the exchange of information and ideas between individuals and groups interested in tribology; to organize meetings and conferences on tribology for members and other interested persons; to promote cooperation in the field of tribology in applied and basic research as well as in teaching; to support and facilitate communication between business and academic research; to represent Switzerland in international tribology organizations.
